Evangelist

A brother who preaches the gospel and works alongside the elders.

The New Testament calls a man who preaches the gospel an evangelist (Ephesians 4:11; 2 Timothy 4:5). He is a brother among us who works alongside the elders, who oversee this congregation.

Caleb Heard preaching at Kingsport Church of Christ

Caleb Heard

Evangelist

Caleb Heard is coming to work with Mesa Valley Church of Christ as our evangelist, beginning around the end of October 2026. Caleb and his wife, MaKayla, are coming to us from Kingsport, Tennessee.

Many of you heard Caleb during his gospel meeting with us earlier this year, “A Harvest of Righteousness,” studies from Ruth.

Please keep the Heards in your prayers as they travel, and help us give them a warm Grand Junction welcome. You can hear Caleb preach on our Sermons page.
